 Meeting convened in the Monroe Hall, Room 124 at 6 pm

Funding Proposals

  May Happy Hour

     $400 requested

     Motion to fund, seconded, passes unanimously.

  GSASC Wine Tour - 07 July

              $390 requested. Attendees will pay $5 for the winery plus $5 for the bus.

     Motion to fund, seconded, passes unanimously.

  Summer Intramurals

     $250 request to fund 5 teams at $50 each.

     Motion to fund, seconded, passes unanimously.

Summer Projects

Encouraged to develop ideas for summer activities. Ideas include:

     outdoor movies

     carnival/moon bounce

     summer movie

     health center fees

     gym fees

     summer intramurals

     retreat

     happy hours

     career services

     Rotunda dinner

     supplement Huskey travel funds

     tubing trip

     Idea of openning up to ideas of grads where they could apply to GSASC for a grant so long as they open it to all Grads.

     tech skills workshops

  After discussion, it was decided to focus on the following items in this order of priority:

    outdoor movie and BBQ

    tubing trip

  Outdoor movie and BBQ was approved for $3000 funding.

Other

  GSASC should organize a welcome event in August/ early September.
