GradDays: GSCB Case Competition

During this event, teams of graduate students from various universities will compete to address most successfully (as determined by a panel of judges from consulting firms, nonprofit organizations, and academia) a real and complex case centered on a non-profit AIDS service organization which is navigating the impact of the Affordable Care Act. Participating teams have worked on the designated case for several days in advance of the competition, and they will be presenting their solutions to the panel of judges.

The goal of the event is to bridge communication between advanced degree holders and candidates (Masters, PhD, MD, JD, Post-Doc) and top consulting firms, ultimately helping to broaden the career options of advanced degree holders/candidates. Every attendee will benefit from understanding a real world problem and networking with consulting professionals and current and future colleagues and peers. Competing teams will particularly benefit from polishing critical thinking and problem-solving skills and sharpening communication and leadership skills through teamwork.
