Lunch Workshop for Female Graduate Students with Female Faculty

GradDays brown bag lunch discussions were introduced last year and were hugely successful!  These informal discussions will take place over lunch and provide a forum where graduate students can talk to faculty or University leaders about issues facing different minority populations on Grounds.  This will serve as a way of connecting individuals for support as well as providing knowledge of the resources available.

Women continue to be under-represented in higher education. As a result, many female graduate students do not have access to mentors within their own department who can speak to their questions and concerns. Come hear from faculty who have gone through it - graduate school, the job market, and the promotion process. Faculty will share their insights and take your questions. Panelists include Janet Cross (Pathology), Karlin Luedtke (WGS), Beverly Adams (Psychology), Catherine Bradshaw (Curry), and Silvia Blemker (BME). Lunch will be served.

Panel will be held on Wednesday, 3/19 from 12-1:30 PM in the Newcomb Kaleidoscope Room.
