The Optical Society of America, UVA Student Chapter is having an info session for all students interested in or currently working with light, optics, and photography. We are a diverse group of graduate and undergraduate students who organize events to get to know future employers, professors, and other students at UVA and other colleges, as well as outreach events geared toward showing kids from elementary to high school the beauty of light and optics. Throughout the year we also have fun social events like laser tag and a photography contest. We are focused on fostering leadership skills and experience and are looking for new members and leaders for 2013-2014. Come to our info session and learn more about what we do over some pizza.
