2013 WIMS Stocking Drive for Underprivileged Teen Girls

UVA WIMS (Women in Math and Sciences) will be collecting items to fill WAHU stockings for teen girls from December 4th through 11th. The stockings program is a joint effort between the Salvation Army, WAHU Fox 27, and local businesses to make sure no one gets overlooked this holiday season. The Salvation Army WAHU stockings provides gifts for local teens ages 13-17. This age group is often overlooked because many “giving-tree” programs end at age 12. This program is a great opportunity to make underprivileged teens’ holiday seasons a little brighter!

Gift ideas include: gift cards, costume jewelry, beauty products (nail polish, perfume, etc…), CD’s, and DVD’s.
