GradDays Panel: Advisor/Advisee and Mentor Relationships

This panel is designed to cover strategies to navigate advisor and mentor relationships in grad school and beyond, managing crucial conversations, and will feature insight from a faculty member that has recent experience on both sides of the advisor/advisee relationship. The session will introduce ways to initiate and lead critical conversations with colleagues, supervisors, and friends. Participants will learn what a critical conversation entails, identify best practices for having successful conversations, and learn about various ways to find and cultivate mentor relationships.
